I got bored of writing essays and reading so I decided to do a drawing. I actually wanted to go back to my old pencil type stuff or even paint but given my inspiration this made most sense.

Based on a film called House of Fools, it's about a hospital for those with mental illness during the Chechen war in Russia.
Anyhow one thing leads to another and the patients are left to themselves, in the resulting chaos the main character, Zhanna, believes she knows how to calm everyone down. She plays her accordian and suddely imagines a perfect world full of love and generosity.
I really liked the idea that music could inspire utopia even in complete chaos. I probably could have done something more original with the idea but I always see these drawings as illustrations of a story rather than purely conceptual artwork.
